Why We Sing
Dates: Wednesdays, August 4-25 from 7:30-8:30 pm
Facilitator: Stephen Morton
Music can touch our emotions in ways that words alone can’t. That is true of both listening to and making music. But there are other very important, practical reasons for singing in church. Understanding more about the rich musical heritage of the church can make worship more meaningful and deepen your faith.
To learn more about hymns and other music in worship, plan to attend “Why We Sing”. This discussion group will meet on Wednesday evenings August 4-25 from 7:30-8:30 pm at our Mid-County Site in the Choir Room, led by Stephen Morton.
Time: Sundays at 9:30 am
Facilitator: Irene Graham
