Survey of Scripture passages about the topics of heaven and hell, with presentation of some historically important different ways of understanding these passages. Emphasis on how these topics, especially heaven, relate to the current lived human experience. Facilitated by Dr. Scott Ragland.

Dr. Scott Ragland (BA Asbury College '91, PhD Yale '01) is chair of the philosophy department at Saint Louis University. He has published books and articles on the philosophy of Rene Descartes as well as on topics in philosophy of religion, including the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy article on Hell.
