Whether you’re already a fan of the graphic novels or discovering the "YouNeek YouNiverse" for the first time, this free community event is the perfect way to spend a winter afternoon with neighbors and friends. Film is rated TV-PG and is recommended for children aged 9+.

We’re showing the PG-rated movie Iyanu: Age of Wonders. The film is rated TV-PG and is recommended for children aged 9+, noting an epic battle that might be intense for some younger kids. 

The film is set 500 years before the events of the hit TV series, Iyanu. This prequel film transports us to the height of magical civilization in Yorubaland. Follow young warriors Dara and Ishe as they battle the rising darkness of Meje—the embodiment of the seven deadly sins. It’s an epic, "Avatar-style" adventure filled with high-stakes magic, rich Nigerian culture, and a message of hope and destiny that resonates with all ages.

Yes, a large parking lot is available on-site. Parking is free.

The event will be held indoors in our Multipurpose Room on a big screen. Drive to the back of the church building and enter through the glass entrance.

Chairs will be available, but feel free to bring blankets to cozy up with during the movie.
