Certified Lay Minister status is for laity called to preach and lead a congregation. Certified Lay Ministers, who are certified lay servants or missioners, are equipped to conduct worship, care for the congregation, lead programs, develop faith communities, preach, lead small groups, and establish community ministries under clergy supervision.
