Strength Finder Resources

Frederick Buechner famously said "The place God calls you is the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet." Explore these resources from our recent "Discovering Your Strengths" workshop experience.

Balconies and Basements

Each one of the StrengthsFinder themes has both balconies and basements. The balconies are the positive characteristics of a theme. The basements are the potential vulnerabilities of a theme, when misapplied. It is important for us to understand both the balconies and basements of each theme so we can ensure that we are truly leveraging (and not over or under using) each of our strengths.

StrengthsFinder and Scripture

All our strengths come from God and He has gifted us uniquely but not completely. "So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us." - Romans 12:5
