Wild Life VBS

It’s wild that God helps each animal grow and thrive… and us, too! WildLife is 5-day Vacation Bible School adventure where kids discover how special they are to God and how wild it is that they can share their story, use their gifts, spend time with God, and spend time with others. We can’t wait to explore with you!

FAQ

How old doeas my child need to be to attend VBS?

VBS is for children ages 3 years old (turned three by 1/1/23)  and are potty trained through rising 5th graders (entering 5th grade in the fall of 2023).

Can my child be in the same group as their friends?

If your child has a friend that is THE SAME AGE AND IN THE SAME GRADE with whom they would like to be grouped, please indicate buddy name on their registration form. Your child’s buddy must also indicate your child’s name as a buddy on their form. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request, however there is no guarantee. VBS is a great way to meet new friends!

Where is drop off and pick up?

On the first day of VBS, children and parents report to the registration area to check in. This is located at the back of the property in the glass entrance.  PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE EARLY TO ALLOW TIME FOR CHECK-IN.  On the following days, parents should drop off all children in the Sanctuary in their assigned crew. Parents may pick up all children in the Sanctuary following the closing at Noon. We require all parents or designated caregivers to sign in and sign out each child at drop-off and pick-up times. We will not release VBS students to an older sibling or undesignated caregiver.  Pick up is promptly at Noon.  Parents picking up after 12:15 pm will be charged $5 for every 15 minutes thereafter which must be paid upon pick up in the office.

Will lunch or snacks be served during VBS?

Snacks will be served each day.  Lunch will not be provided.  If your child has a food allergy, please indicate the allergy on your child(s) registration form.

My child has an Epi-Pen. How should we send it to VBS?

Please send your child’s Epi-Pen in a plastic zip-top bag with their first and last name, allergen, and written instructions, which will be given to the Nurse when you drop your child off for the day.

My child has a resue inhaler. How should we send it to VBS?

Please send your child’s rescue inhaler (and spacer, if needed) in a plastic zip-top bag with their first and last name and written instructions, which will be given to the Nurse when you drop your child off for the day.

Will you be able to administer any medication to my child during VBS?

Thank you for understanding that we will not be able to administer any over-the-counter or prescription medications during VBS, except in the case of an Epi-Pen or a Rescue Inhaler because these are life-saving medications.

Do you offer early drop off?

Early Drop off is available during the week of VBS. Drop off begins at 8:00 am and is $10 per day, per child. Payment must be made in advance.
