About Us

Connecting all people with God's extravagant love.

Our Mission

We connect all people with one another and with God through Worship, Service, Learning, and Community – empowering each person to share the transformational love of Jesus Christ.

Salem is a place to explore and grow in your faith, make a difference in the community, and connect with others. No matter your background or circumstances in life, you are welcome here. Join us for engaging worship, incredible music, meaningful teaching, vibrant activities for children and youth, impactful outreach opportunities, and fun community events.

We believe in a God of love and grace who welcomes ALL people. Every person matters to God, so every person matters to us. We respect our diversity of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical and mental ability, family structure, marital status, socioeconomic status, education, political perspective, faith history and life experience. Our staff, lay leadership and congregation reflect this diversity.  You are Welcome!

Salem is part of the United Methodist denomination, and intends to remain a United Methodist Church. Our five pastors are ordained United Methodist pastors who intend to remain United Methodist. We uphold our heritage by pursuing ministry in keeping with this tradition. Our faith is firmly rooted in and built upon the scriptures but also values tradition, reason and experience in interpreting those scriptures.
