LifeWise's mission is to help individuals and families achieve economic well-being by providing high-impact, relationship-based programming and by addressing systemic barriers to their success. Through educational programming fused with personalized and supportive coaching individual and families take measurable steps to better their futures.
These are occasional service opportunities for individuals or groups. Examples include:
Salem Serve Day at LifeWise
Help with Thanksgiving Turkeys
Help make labels for Christmas giving tree
Assist with seasonal events (such as the Christmas Shop & Back to School)
These are service opportunities for volunteers desiring to build a longer-term helping relationship with LifeWise families and children. [Background checks may be required.] Examples include:
Tutoring (3-12 months)
Mentoring (9-12 months)
Teaching a class
Board Member
